Reciprocal Auctioneer License

Reciprocal Auctioneer License Application Package
Any person who resides in another state that the North Carolina Auctioneer Licensing Board reciprocates with and holds a valid auctioneer license in that state may apply for and be issued a North Carolina reciprocal auctioneer license without the person having to take the auctioneer examination, except those applicants coming from Massachusetts must take the exam.

Auctioneer must be domiciled in the reciprocal state.

Reciprocal fees are based upon the amount charged by the reciprocal state or the State of North Carolina whichever fee is greater.

Below is a list of special reciprocal states, which fees are greater than NC and those fees must be paid.

  • Georgia    $350
  • Louisiana    $275
  • Mississippi    $375
  • Tennessee    $275
  • Fingerprint processing fee    $38
